How to Connect to a Windows Computer from a Linux

I'm here on my ubuntu and I have a vm windows in virtualbox and I want to connect to it remotely, let's go to the steps:


1 - Remote access on the Windows vm must be enabled in:

    Open Windows Explorer > Right Click This Computer > Click Advanced System Settings > Go to the Remote tab and Check if the option "Allow remote connections to this computer" is enabled

 


 

Ready, now the Windows machine can receive remote connections. 

 

Now we need to know what the IP of the Windows machine is, and for that:

 

2 - We open the cmd or command prompt and type "ipconfig" is the option next to ipv4



 

The IP address is 192.168.1.133 

3 - Now we can connect from Ubuntu and for that we can use Remmina


 

 

4 - After we click on connect and that's it.

Understanding static routing

Understanding the routing process is essential for any professional who wants to work with networks so let's consider the initial scenario below. We are going to talk in this post about static routing, which is the basis for understanding dynamic routing, using protocols such as OSPF.       In the figure above we have three computers "PC1, PC2 and PC3" and we also have three routers "R1, R2 and R3". We will need to define five networks as shown in the image below.
