Installing Windows 10 in a virtual machine

At virtualbox we go to: 

 

New > We name the vm > we set a folder for the vm > Type: Microsoft Windows > Version: Windows 10 (64-bit) 

 

Memory size: 4096 MB > Create a virtual hard disk now > VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image > Dynamically allocated > 50GB > Create 

 

After we select the vm and click on Start > Select the ISO already downloaded or add it > Click on Start 

 

After all this procedure the vm will be started and then we enter the Windows installation: 

 

Language to install: Portuguese > Time and currency format: Portuguese (Brazil) > Keyboard or input method: Portuguese (Brazil ABNT) > Install now 

 

I click on I don't have the product key > Select Windows 10 Pro and Next > I mark the option I accept the license terms and Next > I click on the Custom option: install only Windows (advanced) > I select the disk where the system will be installed and we wait the installation.

 

 

 

After installation the vm will restart. 

 

After restarting and the system making some preparations we landed on a screen with some more settings to be made in the system. 

 

We chose the region: Brazil > Keyboard layout: Portuguese (Brazil ABNT2) > A second keyboard layout: skip 

 

We select set up for personal use > Offline Account > Limited experience > We set a username and password > We put the security questions 

 

We should answer a few more questions about a Microsoft experience, you can answer as you see fit and after that Windows will still make more settings and environment preparation and then you will have your Windows installed and ready to use. 

 

The way of installation can be changed if a different option is used, but after you boot from the pendrive to install a new Windows, the step by step is very intuitive and easy.
