Major hardware components of a computer

A computer is made of hardware and software, I have already commented here on the blog in a superficial way about the main software components of a computer, disk, memory and cpu. But today I want to bring the main components of a computer but in terms of hardware. Let's go to them:

1 - Motherboard

The motherboard is an important component, it is where all the other hardware components of the computer are fitted and added, it has the sockets and also the bus that makes all the communication between the components.

2 - CPU

The CPU is the heart of a computer, or rather the brain of a computer. It is responsible for calculations and all operations involving processing.

3 - Memory

Memory is also one of the main devices in a computer, it is the process exchange area, the operating system is all loaded in memory because the registers in the CPU that are a kind of memory are very small and do not hold a large amount of data and the hard disk is too slow to be used as a swap area, it can be but it's too slow, so it takes the memory for this task.

5 - Hard disk

The hard disk is where the persistent data on the computer is, this allows the computer to be turned off and continue the same work that was being edited the day before where it had stopped.
