The real value of information

I'm going to put my point of view in this post about the importance of information, it's my thoughts and you are completely free to disagree with them, and another information is that someone must have already had and said these ideas, probably what I'm writing is not be nothing new.

To understand the importance of information you need to draw a parallel with human existence, what drives a human being to do what he does.

First we were nomads, we didn't have a house, we didn't plant and we were gatherers, so through observation and reasoning man started his journey through knowledge. Discovered agriculture. A number of things need to converge for man to practice agriculture. Research and observation are necessary in order to realize that the seed generated by the plant is what makes new plants grow and that will generate new fruits and more seeds and more food. Having food is good, starving is bad and that is why man practices agriculture.

Having food, the man no longer had to move and could spend several nights in the same place to work on the plantation the next day, but the nights are cold and with that he realized that having protection against the cold wind and rain is better than than sleeping without a roof. Cold and rain are bad and that's why man builds houses.

These are two examples where man exercised reasoning to live better and with more comfort, this is applied to everything and is the basis of modern society. We have a problem and we solve it, problems provide data, the human mind relates this data and produces knowledge, with knowledge we solve the problem, an intelligent solution.

That's the reason for information, to make life better.

However, nowadays things have become a little more complex, the scope of the problems is continental, global. With the economy something on the other side of the globe affects me. I work and study a lot and I don't have a real gain in these activities. We create problems that philosophically don't exist. Vices, corruption, dissatisfaction, impatience, boredom, greed...
